The Battleground of the Mind. The Message Untold.

2 Tim 1:7 says God has NOT given us the spirit of fear but a mind of power, love, and soundness. Beloved there are a lot of scriptures concerning the MIND. To name a few, He tells us to be renewed in our mind, to love with all our mind, be of one mind, be humbled in our mind, let His mind become ours, and don’t let our mind be carnal for its enmity against God.

We know our mind is a place where thoughts come, go and park inside our minds. 2 Cor. 10:3-5 tells us that our weapons are not carnal, but spiritual to the pulling down of strongholds. Strongholds are defined as a place that has been fortified, to protect it against attacks. This is what military and armed forces uses. However, it is also a place where a particular cause or belief is strongly defended or upheld.

Our mind is a part of our soul. Genesis 1:27 says God created us like Him, spirit; but Genesis 2:7 says he formed us from the dust and then breathed into us and made us a living soul. Our soul is comprised of 3 parts: mind, emotions and will. This is the part of us where our personality and character are shaped.

Our mind is also comprised of 3 parts: the conscious, (what I know and see), the subconscious, (the mental programs that was created by our experiences/ the autopilot part of us), and the unconscious (that place where we got stuck and became numb to the pain it left behind).

This is the mandate of INNER HEALING!!!

Like the steering wheel is to a car, our mind is to our bodies. It steers the direction of our emotions and then the emotions effect our body language. This ministry carries the message of transforming from the inside out. That means we must take the time to deal with what lies underneath the surface of our souls (Psalms 51:6 & 19:12), if we are going to step into the full inheritance Jesus died for.

Our soul is shaped by our upbringing, experiences, words (what we heard and didn’t hear), and our environment. Your mind holds the memories (good and bad) of your journey. Your spirit, the part that is made in God’s image, holds your destiny and inheritance. Your destiny is what you said YES to before you were born. So, it is crucial that we embark on a new journey of healing so we can embrace our identity and fulfill what God has earmarked inside this NEW ERA we are now living in. Holy Spirit knows what is in your spirit and He has been leading you to the many places you ran from, because it touched something familiar in you.

I want to focus this message on the unconscious part of our minds. One day God gave me a vivid picture image of being in a new house and when the heat or air was on, it oozes out a foul smell. The vents represented the soul, but the air ducts that sit inside the wall, that you can’t see is where the smell was emanating from — thus the unconscious part of us.

Life happens to all of us, and we may be able to recall things from our past as facts, but don’t realize the baggage our experiences left behind in the unconscious part of our mind that became numb. Now we are all grown up and the only US we know is the US we became.

In God’s presence He showed me an image of a baby that sits inside the sac (the thin wall that surrounds the fetus). However, inside of this sac was the part of us that got wounded and inside that place held the bad memories and fear of that timeframe. The pain that was left from the wound became numb; however, the thoughts where we begin to justify, make excuses, replay the recurring tape and the negative internal conversations stem from the wounded part of us that is trapped.

As we grow up, we get married, start families, become successful, talented, start businesses, ministries, write books and many other endeavors we adventure out in. However, during the journey there is a nagging voice of negativity and fear, that every once in a while, would creep up when pressure is felt.

Jesus is the Repairer of the breach (Isa. 58:12), and He came to open the eyes of the blind, bring us out of captivity and them that sit in darkness (Isa. 42:7). Jesus died on the cross for the sin of the world and redeemed us from the curse of the law. But He also died for our healing and to liberate us from the oppressor. This is the message of Salvation that carries the oil of healing to every fragmented part of us.

The part of our mind that was shattered by life left gaps, that’s the fragmented places where the enemy of pain/fear camps out. Just like God created our bodies to heal itself, God created the soul to protect itself, through survival mechanisms that unknowingly we adopted and plays out inside of the subconscious part of us. However, this only allowed us to exist and look the part on the outside. Jesus paid the price with His blood on the cross for our wholeness.

We are living in an hour where the spirit of religion, and your traditions will no longer fulfill you. The Reformation of God’s Kingdom is here in the earth right now. To embrace your true identity, you will have to battle against the voices that causes you to draw back and change direction when pressure is felt. To battle against the voice; (1) you must first embrace the part of you that was pushed to the side, where the pain became numb, but still carries an internal voice in you. And (2) you have to acknowledge all that God has done and shown you and confirmed in you over the years. That negative voice speaks from the place you got stuck inside the sac with the pain and bad memories.

What voice is going to take precedence? When you acknowledge God in your journey, no matter what it looked like, you will begin to recognize His hand at every turn in your life. So, when pressure is felt you begin to voice, “I BELIEVE GOD!” And not let the negative voice altar your direction or movements. Remember, it only knows pain, but you grew up and seen God through the different stages of life. His faithfulness becomes your weapon against the enemy of pain. This is also the place where you yield even the more to the help of Holy Spirit to stay on the course that He put you.

God spoke Isaiah 11:16 in 2006 when He birthed DZEC; and here we are 16 years later that this promise is unfolding. It tells us that there is a remnant that was left in Assyria and in the same manner God delivered Israel out of Egypt is how He is delivering us today. Assyria represents a nation that was fierce, cruel and showed little mercy to those they conquered. Well today we live under the oppression of a Babylon system that rules over God’s people like in the days of Egypt. We also live under the oppression of the pain that's numb that still gets a reaction from the unconscious part of us.  In the days of Egypt, it was the demonstration of the Red Sea that made a name for God and a supernatural way of escape for His people. As it was then, so it is now, that the Arm of the Lord is fighting for us in the earth and over our identities.

The divine release of the Lord is coming out of the glory realm and that is the awakening of our identity of sonship and in that place, God has given peace (Haggai 2:9).

If you are reading this, your pre-ordained destiny was being unlocked for this hour. God is awakening the dry bones of the church and raising up His remnant to possess their inheritance that was promised before they were born. Your inheritance is God releasing His justice for every injustice. It’s every written word and prophetic word that was released over you. Every promise God spoke is your inheritance, including your true identity as sons and heirs of the Kingdom, but you must battle against the voices of pain that have camped out in the unconscious part of you that is opposing your NEW DAY!!!
